Performing Arts

for 8yrs – Teens

Jesters Youth Theatre is for 8 – 18year olds and we treat them as a professional company. During the session students take part in Singing, Acting and Dance lessons as well as learning how to implement all three genres into their performances.

Working as an ensemble enables our students to develop confidence in their performance and in their peers. Whether the student wants to come along as a fun hobby or if they want to go on to have a career in the Performing Arts our tutors will help them achieve their goals.

Youth Theatre members also work towards examinations within the IDTA Musical Theatre and Freestyle syllabus. These exams are not compulsory and are there as an option for them to further their skills and gain awards and certificates. There is no pressure to take an examination and the exams themselves are very fun and enjoyable to take.

We keep our youth theatre small to allow us to nurture and develop each student as an individual and this sets us apart from other such ‘stage schools’
